Scholars will dine in groups based on their programs of interest and discussion will be friendly and open. *Please note that department participation, particularly from faculty, is subject to availability. Not all departments will have representation during this session. 12:45 - 1:45 pm: Keynote Address 2:00 pm - 3:15 pm: The Graduate School Application Process Hosted by Princeton University’s Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Geoffrey Hill Ph.D. (with a focus on Humanities and Social Sciences) and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Alice Seneres, Ph.D. (with a focus on Natural Sciences and Engineering).During this dynamic session, we will discuss the specifics of the application process and the particular areas of importance as they relate to field of study. We will dive deeper into the components of the application, consider best practices, and evaluate ways in which you can strengthen your application and represent yourself in the most impactful manner. After a general discussion, we will break out into separate rooms to further discuss relevant application components by division, including crafting an effective and impactful Statement of Purpose. 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm: Divisional Breakouts and Info Sessions Location: Jadwin Hall - A07 & A08Tailored specifically for your academic interests, these breakout sessions will divide P3 Scholars into two groups: Divisions 1-2 (Humanities and Social Sciences) and Divisions 3-4 (STEM and Engineering). Engage in focused discussions on graduate programs, research opportunities, and resources relevant to your field. Connect with faculty and peers as you explore the unique academic landscapes of your division. 4:50 pm - 6:30 pm: P3 Closing Dinner P3 Scholars will have the opportunity to eat and further network with cohort members, explore campus further, or depart from campus.
