Role 2nd Year, Molecular Biology Email [email protected] Bio/Description I am a second-year PhD student in the Molecular Biology department, exploring the sustainable bioprocessing potential of non-conventional yeasts. I completed my undergraduate studies at Cornell University, double majoring in Biological Sciences and Chemistry & Chemical Biology. Growing up in Kingston, Jamaica, I witnessed and experienced numerous disadvantages of unsustainable development and climate change, which are further exacerbated within developing economies. Firsthand experience with these problems drives my graduate research, shapes my sustainability-focused professional goals, and motivates my active involvement in access, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. My engagement with Princeton’s Access, Diversity, and Inclusion team began as a Graduate Scholars Program mentee in 2022. Since then, I have actively pursued opportunities to serve and contribute to the Graduate School community. I am enthusiastic about expanding my involvement and service through my role as a Diversity Fellow. Sitewide Category Diversity Fellow
