Virtual Summer Workshop Series 2021

The Deans from the Access, Diversity and Inclusion team are delighted to invite you to participate in our Graduate School Summer Workshop Series. Webinar participants will be introduced to the graduate school application process, receive useful application tips and best practices for networking with faculty and administrators, and understand how to prepare for interviews/campus visits. The summer will end with an overview of the incredible resources available to graduate students at Princeton. We look forward to meeting you throughout the summer.

Grad Info Session

Description: This 1-hour presentation will provide general information about what Princeton has to offer to graduate students. Prospective applicants will learn about key staff who can support the application process, review the components of the graduate application along with general tips, and discover key programs, including the Graduate Scholars Program, Pre-Doctoral Program and signature visitation programs.

Maximizing Your Virtual Conference Experience

The pandemic has ushered in the new all-virtual conference/academic meeting. These remote gatherings present a number of unique opportunities that allow more students to access resources, network, and share their research and scholarship. Learn about ways to leverage your time, tackle nebulous networking hours, and make the most of virtual graduate school fairs. We’ll share best practices for maximizing your experience and how to create opportunities to connect with peers, faculty, and administrators in your field.

Divisional Info Session (Breakouts: STEM and Humanities/Social Sciences)

Wednesday, July 28th, 12:00pm (EST)

This 1-hour presentation will provide general information about what Princeton has to offer to graduate students in separate divisional sessions. A group session will be separated into two discussion forums: 1) Natural Sciences (including Psychology) and Engineering and 2) Humanities and Social Sciences. Prospective applicants will connect with Deans who support each set of divisions to learn more about the application process and its components, and receive answers to questions particular to their broad fields.
